Unfortunately, these two implants cannot be saved. Have a look at the implant-abutment connections... Removal is the only predictable option.

In hindsight, a cantilever bridge would probably have been a better first-line treatment than implants in this situation.
The bone defect is now too large.
We will need to reconstruct the ridge first with a customised titanium mesh, to restore enough bone volume for new implants and an aesthetic result

Before / Your3Dcage® in place / final result.

No grey showing through. No recession. Papillae back. A smile that looks like it was never touched.

Longer? Yes. Predictable? Yes.

In the esthetic zone, you don’t get a second chance.
